Nutcracker’s saffron nut mix
This recipe is right up our allé! The combination of sweet (mulberry) and salty (nuts) along with the luxurious saffron is really phenomenal.
“But, isn’t the recipe a bit too easy to post on the blog?” asked our colleague Jullan when she heard about today’s plans for the blog.
“Good things can never be too simple”, replied the two wise grandmas as they went to their desks with their walkers.
Nutcracker’s nut mix with saffron
(1 pretty big portion yet it disappears quickly if you’re a saffron-lover)
1 cup dried mulberries
1 cup cashew nuts
1 cup almonds
1 cup raisins
1 cup walnuts
1 x 0,5 g package ground saffron
1 teaspoon honey
1 tablespoon of olive oil
Stir everything together. Bake in the oven for 15 minutes at 150°C/300°F.
