Hi, I hope this answers your question. I’ve been using this shampoo for a while however infrequently due to the cinnamon in its ingredient list I was unaware of it and I’m topically allergic. It’s an ok shampoo not super moiturising but it does a good job; it doesn’t make your hair dry. If you are wanting to add protein to your hair you need to use a product that contains keratin but a warning don’t use on dry hair it will make it snap. I would suggest using argan oil in it’s natural form and either massaging it into your scalp or putting it on the ends of your hair. It’s natural and your hair will love it.
From my experience, it does not strip color from highlighted or dyed hair. It’s a pretty gentle shampoo. I have an oily scalp and dry ends. I have to wash twice, but it’s worth it. Cleanses the scalp thoroughly and does not dry out the ends.

No. Every shampoo is different and targeting various types of hair. Pumpkin is good for frizzy and curly hair. Coconut works great for dry hair. Pear helps colored hair. Peppermint is for thin hair, gives volume. Lemongrass is for oily hair. Hope i helped 🙂
