California Gold Nutrition, Very Vanilla Flavor Vegan Protein, Pea & Brown Rice, No Soy, No GMOs, 16 oz (454 g) Product Review

Excellent vegetable protein. The taste is very good! hold your nose. Change the smell. Too bad! Awful taste. I ca n’t drink. Delicious But Finishes Very Fast. Thank you so much for everything. Well.

In vain I was worried after reading negative reviews of this vegetable protein. In fact, she received a normal vegan protein (and even without gluten!). It easily interferes in the shaker (I have tried only with water so far, but the manufacturer writes that it is possible to use vegetable milk). You can add chia seeds or psyllium – as needed or desired. Absorbed perfectly, without any complaints from the gastrointestinal tract. As for taste, I didn’t notice any screaming and excessive cloying about which they write here. Here I will add that I have practically never consumed sugar for several years now, so I notice everything that is somewhat cloying at once. Here, just vanilla and, judging by the taste, stevia (stevia, too, not everyone can understand, believing that it should have a taste of sugar. A matter of habit). By texture: everything that you drink in this protein enters the stomach; there are no “flakes” on the teeth, for the presence of which complain here, does not remain, i. e. there are no problems here either; There is a feeling of rice powder (those who have tried rice flour will understand what they are talking about) in the mouth after eating protein, but this is easily corrected with a couple sips of water (again, if you are confused). If you are afraid of “black flakes” – drink from an opaque shaker. Downgrading a good product due to personal overshoots is not acceptable. I recommend this protein to vegans and to those who have a different protein that is poorly absorbed. PS: 1). if you suffer from flatulence while eating protein (without adding lactose), drink a course of prebiotics.2) if you use protein with lactose, then know that lactose in adults is not absorbed, because with age, the enzyme responsible for its cleavage and assimilation ceases to be produced (hence meteorism; observe). On Foodpharmacy Blog you can buy special pills that will help with this problem (if you really can not refuse lactose).
