I ordered 200g because 100g of this was delicious. There is no description of “organic” in the package of the goods which arrived. If you check this page, “Oh, was it organic? “, 100g only, “organic” is described in the package and product title. There is no organic description (more than “Agrochemical non-use” is described in the page details but nothing is specified in the product itself) for 200g or more.”Don’t do it!” Misleading! Hello! I’ve been drinking the Dandy blend for some time as a coffee substitute. And I’ve been wondering if anyone here knows if it provides any health benefits (the dandelion root is known for) too. OR is it too processed for that. I’ll keep drinking it regardless the answer. But it would be nice to know. 🙂

I see the smallest size of dandy blend says “organic” but the larger packages do not. Does this mean the larger packages are not organic? I’m looking for bulk organic dandy blend.

If you do not add anything to it I think you should be fine. Dandelion is a diuretic so taking it while fasting would probably help cleanse your system more. I however would be careful taking too much at a time as dandelion can lower your blood sugar, so start with a tsp and add to it in small amounts to see if it affects you, I take a tbs a day and I’m ok, any more than that it lowers my sugar way too much.
I too have been drinking Dandy Blend as a coffee substitute for six years. I can’t answer your question, however, you may want to contact the company that produces the product. They probably are more qualified to answer your question. Continue to enjoy this drink as I do.

I didn’t research every ingredient, but I Wouldn’t recommend this for during pregnancy. Chicory is not recommended during pregnancy.
I called the company and this is what I found out. Dandy blend has been around for about 20 years. There are no herbicides or pesticides, and it’s non-GMO. About a year ago they were certified to sell organic. The organic only comes in the small package. The original is not certified organic.
