Questions and Answers

Hi, Could you please confirm that this product DOES NOT CONTAIN FOLIC ACID? ‘Folate’ is fine, but definitely not folic acid. Many thanks
I have been consuming this for about a week now and noticed that my urine is luminous yellow. May I know why this is the case?
Hi, Could you please let me know how much pyridoxine hydrochloride and how much pyridoxal-5-phosphate is in each capsule? Thanks.
I take water soluble vitamins first thing in the morning (for the most effect), but this says to take with a meal. Any thoughts on when best to take this?
The best part of the day to be taken? Morning or evening and for how long?
why do I get headaches and tiredness when taking a B Complex?
After taking tablets two days in a row my urine turned bright yellow, like lemonade. Is that normal?
is this product safe for children, and if so, how can i administer
Hi, for this fully active B complex, can it be taken daily by 16 years old teenager female?
What does this(Vitamin B6 (from pyridoxine HCI and pyridoxal-5-phosphate) mean? How much is the pyridoxine hcl and how much is the p5p?

does not contain Folic Acid. just Folate.
It’s because of excess of vitamins B that are being passed out with the urine. The amount per serving is much higher than the daily recommended value so the excess is ridden off the blood through the urine. But nothing to worry about.
Hi. The label does not indicate how much of the vitamin B6 is in the biologically active form -P5P- and how much is in the inactive form Pyridoxine HCL. You could ask at the manufacturer’s website: https://www.drbvitamins. com; However from my experience, it is (in my opinion), a very good product to take for correction of methylation function, at a dose of 1 capsule daily after breakfast, but perhaps with extra methylcobalamin, in those people with MTHFR gene mutation. I hope this helps, Philip.
I just take them with the rest of my tablets after beakfast.
Some of the B Complex vitamins are more stimulating, so best taken in morning on an empty stomach with a reasonable amount of water. Can be taken with food but B12 is better on empty stomach. Take at least an hour before coffee/tea as they have caffeine & tannins that may affect vitamin B absorption. You may get a flush affect from the B3 which is a flush/glow/burn sensation, which is harmless. I only get it occasionally (not every time) and it lasts a few minutes. I actually quite like the sensation! Your reason for taking a B Complex will determine how long you take it for. I take it maybe 4 or 5 days a week but not every day. Do not take more than one a day as that would give you a lot of B6.
Do not take them in a empty stomach.
I have always found that Vitamin B supplements will do that. not to be mistaken for dark urine like a mustard colour, which can indicate dehydration.
I suggest read Andrew Saul on B vitamins http://www.doctoryourself.com/bvitamins. html and also check with the manufacturer. Also check the ingredients in case of allergies. This is a great product, and in principle B vitamins are absolutely necessary for children. They are not dangerous. However this is an adult dose, and the levels of B6 could cause temporary side effects if they took too many at once. And the level of B3 in a single capsule is enough to sometimes cause an unpleasant ‘Niacin flush’ even in adults. So you might want to break the capsules down, especially for under 12s, and add smaller amounts to a smoothy or something. For very small children I would get specific advice from a nutritionist. Do by all means pester the makers to produce a children’s version. It is needed.
You should check with your Doctor first.
Hi. I use this product and similar, as was advised by my Naturapth. I was tested for the MTHFR gene mutation and seems I cannot convert normal VitB12 and Folate, so I need the above form. I can’t say that I have felt any different, but it’s difficult to tell.
