I like this vitamin K because it is supposed to help boost the effects of vitamin D which most people don’t get enough of.

Vitamin K2 is very important to take in conjunction with magnesium and D3 to make them have better reaction. K2 pulls the calcium that running loose in the body back into bones. I have not had any problem with bone spurs or kidney stones since I started taking it.

I usethis product because it helps me avoid bruising which it accomplishes. It states the main ingredient as being Menaquinone. I am sure this is not based from meat, but you would need to look that up on the computer I think. Sorry I cannot help you further.
