The orange sponge looks exactly like the real techniques miracle complexion sponge, it has the same slanted edge on the one side and the same pointed tip on the other. I so agree with you about the rt sponge changing. The brushes also come with a portable pouch to tote them around in, and the entire set will only cost about as much as a submarine sandwich. My face also has not broken out with this sponge yet as i know some people’s faces do because there is latex in some dupe sponges. When i opened the bags for each brush they emitted and awful smell. This sponge for makeup is one of the best i have tried so far. I have always wanted to try the beauty blender, but could not think of spending 20 dollars on a sponge! If it is used dry, i can imagine it would absorb makeup more as the sponge gets much larger when wet, but i find wetting any sponge will help give you that airbrushed effect. My current foundation brush, wearing out from repeated, almost daily use over 10 years, is jane iredale’s the handi.

This sponge is perfect for blending concealer under the eyes or around the nose. This product is an allure best of beauty award winner. Even so, i am actually still using the sponge a year later. I really do enjoy using these beauty blenders, they are soft and big and spongey just how they should be, they work great with or without water although i prefer a little drip on the sponge beforehand as i have found when you have a dry sponge it sort of smears around your face or clumps. So i dipped, dabbed, and tested my way through dozens of sponges to narrow down the 13 worth your time and money. You can purchase urban studio makeup brushes and sponges at dis-chem, the brand is actually part of cala. Instead, for bb cream, i spread it all over my face with my fingertips, then used the sponge to dab and blend all over to create a flawless surface with no stroke marks. Of course, most gals also cannot get enough of great makeup buys. When i tried the fenty sponge, i also appreciated that the three-sided shape means the flat side of the sponge worked really well with powder, which is something that the original beautyblender cannot do as well. A lot of the time, i’d notice that the cheaper sponges would be really dense even when you dampen them. This sponge is slightly bigger and holds more product (But not absorbing/wasting)! I use high-end foundation and i end up using around 4-6 pumps every application, she writes, adding, i used one pump and covered my face completely with this sponge. The precision blending sponge (The orange one) retails for r74,95 and in my opinion is much nicer than the newer version of the real techniques miracle complexion sponge.
