I have a cup of tea with nettle leaves and raspberry leaves every day. It’s really good. It’s a big bag. The leaves are very cut. So I bought a tea bag.

I love nettle and the benefits are well known. I drink this all day, chilled as ice tea in the summer, in a bottle as a fortified water at work, and as a bedtime tea. Love the mild earthy nutty flavor, a bit like oolong without the caffeine. Such a great price without unnecessary packaging — nettle teabags are ridiculously expensive and wasteful.

Loose dried cut leaves not sure whether sifted.
I don’t know. I’ve never tried to smoke it as I use it mainly for loose leaf tea. After I read your question I did put it inside an metal incense container and lit it. It did not burn with a flame but it smoldered with orange coals and products smoke. So, based on that I’d assume you could smoke it. I can’t attest to the health properties of smoking it though. It’s a great anti-inflammatory, calming and allergy / sinus solution when drank as a tea. I’d research if it is useful when smoked to make sure you’re not using it the wrong to avoid any negative reactions.
