The stevia plant has two sweet compounds, stevioside and rebaudioside a (Reb a or rebiana). I use this in my hot green tea and it dissolves nicely. Also use in smoothies. Love that it is nutritious too and naturally the color of the leaves. Stevia has many health benefits – look it up. Balances blood sugar.

Spice completely. Curry completely. I bought for the purpose of simply put in coffee, a useless substitute. I understand why many refined products are out. If you put in a small amount of coffee richly filled with fragrant deep-fried beans, you can drink it. As for sweetness, I drank at a flower festival when I was a child, remembered sweet tea, that kind of taste. There are no problems with the product itself, so it’s my preference so there are two stars. I will challenge with tea this time. If you can drink it deliciously, add it.

I’ve been using the Frontier Natural Products Organic Powdered Stevia in my blender drink every morning for several years and have been very happy with it. I especially like that it is the whole leaf, not an extract. The package does not indicate where it is grown.
