I’ve been using this product for years and have it stored on a shelf in my pantry. I have never refrigerated it. As far as shipping temperature, I don’t know what it can tolerate, but I’ve been very happy with this product and how it helps me feel. My husband also uses it and has had no problems with it either. The bottle I purchased in September 2018 has a use by date of 03/2020. giving you an 18 month period to use the 216 pills. plenty of time.
