I think Japanese people who are not used to scents will find it hard to use straight! When used for the first time, I was surprised at the intensity of the fragrance and washed it again. After that, I was unable to use it for a while, but it is! So, when I blend it with my usual liquid soap (soap bubbles or Miyoshi), what a wonderful scent it is! Body soap, shampoo, anything can be used! You can adjust the intensity of the scent by mixing the amount. I like this. It’s a lipi decision!

I don’t know because wool and silk are not washed normally. I Have washed wool in it but I was doing it to shrink it for a craft project. came out lovely. LOVE this soap. It’s the only laundry soap I use and have used it for over 6 years now. LOVE THE way it smells. not heavy and chemical like bounce dryer sheets.
The container has an imprint of plastic #2 which I know is recyclable. However, there is no mention of packaging being biodegradable.
