The mask is easily removed with a damp face cloth, and leaves the skin feeling soft, clean and fresh. After using this mask my face feels fresh, tight and clean. When i am ready to remove the mask i opt to jump into the shower as it easier to get everything off in there. The star ingredient in this mask is red algae. I apply this mask in an even, thin layer on my face, avoiding the eye area. Love that i can mix and match different masks on different parts of my face all at the same time. Before i put this on my face i was not expecting too much but boy this mask just totally blasted all my preconceived thoughts about it. However, it’s been about a year and my mask is now starting to dry up even though i keep the jar tightly closed all the time. I also had a fabulous time testing out the exfoliate and refine mask. I applied this mask with a foundation brush for precise application. Made with three mineral clays and other ingredients sourced from different regions around the world, each of the three clay masks offers a unique benefit specific to that mask: One to detoxify, one to mattify and one to refine skin texture. Being clay i was expecting this mask to be too drying for my skin, however it was the complete opposite. I will keep the other two masks on hand to use as needed. Even though i do not really struggle with an oily skin anymore i did like the clean, mattifying effect this mask had on my skin after i used it. My skin feels soft to touch and revived each time i use this mask. This mask is highly recommended for dull, tired skin to help bring radiant, healthy glow and detoxify skin. So this mask should also work well for those who do not like a eucalyptus scent.

I definitely could not use this year-round since my face is not super oily, but for summertime, this is a nice addition to my routine. The best clay mask for someone with oily skin, for example, will have alpha or beta-hydroxy acids and if you have dry, sensitive skin, you should be on the hunt for calming ingredients like aloe and chamomile. I keep the product on my face for the full 15 minutes and after 15 minutes the product dries to be almost clear or a lighter pale green colour (Almost white) depending on how thin the mask is applied. Even though these are clay mask these are not that drying but i will suggest you get the one that your skin needs. I like to remove clay masks using a muslin cloth or if i get myself together and organised i will apply it before i take a shower and wash it off in there. This clay mask has a green color and a refreshing smell, which the brand suggests is of eucalyptus. These days there are a variety of masks available in the market for different skin types (Dry, oily and combination). I have no idea what red algae smells like but this mask has a delightful scent. A facial cleanser is the most stable part of our skincare routine.

The face scrub comes in a light red color, with scrubbing granules in it. It looks like there are a lot of little holes in the mask which is the product sinking into your skin. I found these masks to be a real help, never thought about only putting masks on parts of my face and not all over, genius! I believe masking is important to achieve healthy and luminous skin. -To use as a face mask, apply an even coat on damp skin after cleansing, leave on for three to five minutes, and rinse. I always try to mask on days i have to wash my hair so my hairline does not get messed up removing this mask. When you take off the mask, your skin feels very soft and matte. When you screw open the lid you are faced with a white plastic cover and once you lift that you are faced with the product. After the mask is removed my face feels less oily, and my skin feels refreshed and a little tightened (Not in a bad way)! For stressed and inflamed skin, the clear and comfort face mask (The blue one): This seaweed infused clay mask is super soothing and comfortable. Overall, i am totally enjoying this new face mask as it works so well on my oily skin. Unlike like some masks where it takes forever to get it all off which can prove annoying. I got this in a trial pack of three mini l’oreal masks and i will definitely be buying this one in the full size now that i have tried it.

I brought this face mask as i really liked the look of it and i also needed something to help with oiliness. Our pure clay detox and brighten mask does contain fragrance. This mask has never broken me out and, in fact, has reduced my pimples a bit. I am enjoying these masks as my skin is loving it and will keep using.
