There is no gelatin. Blood builder is tablet formulated – not capsules.

I take 2 tablets everyday to maintain my iron levels. I eat a vegan diet so I don’t always eat enough greens to keep my iron levels at normal range. This is plant based and I feel very safe. I have recommended higher doses of 4 a day if someone is highly deficient and then drop down to two a day to maintain iron levels.
That is a question you would need to ask your pharmacist. I personally cannot tolerate ferrous fumirate as it is very constipating. Blood builder works just as well to keep my iron levels where they need to be and is all plant based so I have no side effects.
