Judging by the comments, everyone put different means in the package. For I can no longer explain those reviews where they write about the “pleasant little lemon smell.” The smell is not just unpleasant or something like “Oh, not in my taste.” The smell is unbearably disgusting. As befits a “good perfume”, there are top notes of lemon chemistry and an unweathered core of something despicably oily. In order for this smell to go away, I had to not only wash my hands well, but also wash the clothes that got drops of this product. I do not recommend buying anyone who has a sense of smell.

I’m not sure what you mean by viscous. Mine is pretty liquid. After I rub it off, my hands are not sticky, although I do feel like there’s a substance on them. After you spray it on your hands, it’s important to rub them well immediately, or they will stay sticky. Also, don’t use too much – two squirts is enough for an adult, and one for a child.
It’s 100% vegan
I have only used this product on hands, however on the label it states this product contains essential oils of Lemongrass & Origanum with Thymol and Vanilla apart from various other ingredients. When diluted, as they seem to be in this product, the essential oils are not harmful to facial skin unless it is very sensitive. However I would be be very careful it is not sprayed near eyes. I would suggest contacting Madre Labs to check on the other ingredients safe use for face.

There is no issue whoever uses Madre Labs Hand Cleanser. Absolutely perfect for toddlers as it is alcohol-free.
