I have a question: Sometimes i purchase the rotisserie chickens from the grocery store for a quick meal during the week. First, place your pot in your sink and place an opened plastic grocery bag next to it. We celebrated lots of holidays this week – halloween, national oatmeal day (Thursday), and national chocolate day (Wednesday). Next time you grill or roast some chicken, make extra and try these tricks to stretch the leftovers into another meal. This looks great and i pinned under 30 min meals as that is what is stated. Save all your chicken bones (From above-mentioned broth or other meal prep), uncooked backs and wing tips, as well as wilted celery or leftover roast carrots to throw in this pot of goodness. Although this soup is pretty substantial on it’s own, depending on your hunger level, you may be looking to add some additional components to round out this meal. Hot chili oil- just a couple of drops of hot chili oil (Found in the asian section in most grocery stores) or sriracha (Or even a pinch of red pepper flakes) is such a game changer! I have tried a lot of canned soup over the years for an easy and quick lunch and none of them compare. We share nutritious meals with local food pantries, feed thousands of students when schools go on holiday, and make extra meals to share from ingredients donated by local farmers. We will definitely be heading back to our local grocery store to find this soup when we are starting to feel under the weather or need a warming winter meal. Available in many grocery stores and whole foods markets. Our soups come in shelf-stable cartons that can store easily in your pantry or office so you can enjoy a nourishing lunch or meal anytime. Instead of throwing leftover bones and carcasses from meals in the garbage, save them to make broth. I am all about using what we have in the pantry or can get on sale at the grocery store. For low- carb option- replace ramen noodles with shirataki noodles (Sometimes called miracle noodles found in the refrigerated section in the grocery store). Some is better than none, so whether it be once a week or once a day, drink it as often as you can. Our local grocery store carries a brand called always save and they have a wide noodle that is egg-free. Unfortunately as i went to make it i see you have to soak the eggs over night, definitely not a 30 min meal.

When i roast a whole chicken, or have leftover bones from roasted chicken thighs, or even just the remains from a rotisserie chicken from the grocery store, i toss the bones into the bag. Our mission is to nourish every body, one meal at a time. I get three meals out of one chicken – traditional chicken dinner use some of the chicken in stir fry and then make the soup. I love having a bunch of these for quick meals, and it’s great to have them delivered by mail (Soup can be heavy)! The kids love it and we all get to enjoy a great meal. But it is very, very yummy, and yummy (Along with easy, healthy, and great leftover) is a top quality we look for in our meals around here. Just a couple of drops of hot chili oil (Found in the asian section in most grocery stores) or sriracha (Or even a pinch of red pepper flakes) is such a game changer!
