Bought this for my husband as his doctor has recommended he take a calcium supplement and Chris Masterjohn has some recommendations that I thought this lined up with. If you’re sensitive to smell you might not like it but it’s fine for my husband. We’ll only know if it’s helping on the next blood test.

I would suggest that the heat treatment of the bone meal and the small amount included in a diet would make it very safe. As prions can be present in animal meat, bone meal would have a very small quantity if any meat present. We use it as a phosphorus source in making dog food.
