I only take this when I have s cold or I am sick. I take one in the morning with food and one at night. I never take it for more than a week. I have also read it’s toxic if taken in large doses or for long periods. Hope this helps.

I do not recommend it’s use in pregnancy unless one gets an OK from a doctor. One must understand that every pregnancy is different and only the doctor will be able to assess if it is safe to consume.

I know that many of NOW products are kosher, but if it does not have a Triangle-K on the bottle I would not trust it. They usually have a K within a triangle that says contains gelatin under it to indicate that it is kosher. I would go directly to the NOW website and email them to ask specifically about this product.
