I have always taken the capsules with water. However, you can open the capsules and add the Mg citrate powder to water. I just tried it now, and while the powder isn’t immediately soluble in cool water, it may dissolve more completely in warmer water. In any case the powder is no longer in one clump but suspended throughout the liquid. I didn’t go so far as to taste it. I’ll leave that discovery to you. 🙂
