Suffered from an inflamed eye lid, flaky itchy skin off and on. Drove me mad. Seemed to be connected with high histamine in my diet. Took out all the histamine foods and put in the food that lowers histamine like papaya. DIDN’T Do a dam thing to help. Took these capsules, 2 x 4 times a day and with in 24 hrs much better. Gradually reduced them to 1 x 3 times a week as preventative. Not had a problem since. Awesome

Nettle root leaves and extract contain high levels of iron. Anyone’s guess to % of iron in NOW capsule? in one cup of nettle leaf tea, maybe 10 to 15% of daily intake. Capsule should or may contain more iron? 3 slices of watermelon contain 20 mg. of iron, which is very high. Many foods contain iron. If one wants to increase iron intake, I don’t recommend nettle root for iron. Eat a balanced diet and get tested for iron.
