I had most of my large Colon removed almost a year ago and now wear an Ostomy Bag. My Surgeon keeps asking if I would like an Ileostomy Reversal. I am reluctant because with virtually NO large Colon to absorb fluid and store and eliminate waste from my body, my excrement is gas and slop. I need to be able to FIRM UP and have better control of my EXCREMENT. If I increased my intake of Apple Pectin to 3 Capsules before each meal and drink much less fluid, am I likely to cause any damage?
