Intestinal probiotic bacteria consume Inulin and in turn, produce the short-chain fatty acids that nourish the cells lining the colon. Inulin thus helps to maintain intestinal health and function. Inulin has a pleasant flavor that adds a mild sweetness to foods and drinks, but has a very low glycemic index and will not negatively impact serum glucose levels.

It uses a high quality form of inulin-fos, which selectively promotes the growth of bifidobacterium bacteria strains. One of the reasons suggested for this is that inulin causes the production of short-chain fatty acids that reduce the ph in the large intestine. Now Foods, Certified Organic Inulin, Prebiotic Pure Powder, 8 oz (227 g) Product Review

It took time to evaluate this product. Works! Inulin in the manufacture of yogurt. I LOVE THIS INULIN! HE IS THE BEST, EFFICIENT AND DELICIOUS! Required by Nemechek protocol. New formulation? Great Intestinal Work! Really like! Is good. Great Inulin

The first reaction to this inulin was to go and loudly complain about what kind of muck! Judge for yourself: the product has a sweetish, for me disgusting taste, something remotely resembling sugar for people with diabetes. I know that this is because of my grandmother, a very special sweetener. I could not drink this inulin. Yes, and did not notice the effect when I drank between meals. Upset. I wondered how to persuade myself. I came up with this: everyone knows that probiotics are perfectly combined with PREbiotics, which include inulin. Probiotics from different brands I accept, I love the option for the night. She began to wash down my pills, including a probiotic for the night, with a glass of water with inulin. The intestine is very much like it! Improved pereltristika, in my case there was a light laxative effect, which for me is fine. Now, feeling the effect, I’m ready to endure all the inconveniences (taste, form of powder) of reception. The bank is huge, almost for 3 months. I’m more, because I drink a little less than a teaspoon at a time. Do not be lazy to press YES if you have read and the tip was useful. I will be very grateful. Many interesting reviews on my page, you can go there by clicking my nickname TalaniaSilver on the recall.

A child with ASD has big problems with the gastrointestinal tract. They started a protocol in which one of the INULIN products of this brand. We drink for more than a month, terrible flatulence (putrefactive) with him and the frog’s belly has gone, a constant belching has left. The chair is regular, with the right consistency and color. I am very pleased with the work of this inulin. An acceptable price is also pleasing which is not at the expense of quality! I advise all my friends mom exactly HIS! PS not so long ago I started to take it too. Will definitely order again and again. And I recommend it to you! Good health to all! If YOU liked and my review was useful, do not regret your finger)

I add Inulin in the manufacture of yogurt from capsular probiotics. On 1 liter of milk I add 1/2 – 1 teaspoon. With it, yogurt becomes tastier, tastes a little sweet, and thicker because Inulin is a very good food for good bacteria. By the method of sampling I found two optimal recipes for such yoghurt: 21st Century, Acidophilus – 2 capsules per liter of milk – 8 hours at t = 38’С and Now Foods, 4×6 – 1 capsule per liter of milk – 5-6 hours at t = 39′ WITH. Traditional use of Inulin – adjustment of the microbiome. To this end, the therapeutic dose for an adult is 10 grams of pure Inulin per day at any time with food or liquid. A teaspoon without the slides of this Inulin – 2. 0 g.

Well, it’s just my favorite of prebiotics! I love its taste, a little sweetish pleasant white powder, it reminds me of the taste of cotton candy or burnt sugar, something from my childhood) I take it, adding a few teaspoons to my evening kefir, stirring and sprinkling cinnamon. Yummy! I wash down with this cocktail a probiotic from California Gold Nutrition, in order to achieve a double effect, the results make me happy. No problems with the digestive tract, digestion, etc. it did not remain at all, even single pimples appearing from time to time on the face disappeared. I recommend this inulin from Now Foods, for me personally this is the most delicious prebiotic, but also useful. Sweet for the night is possible if it is inulin). I hope my reviews will help you to make a choice. All good shopping, eternal beauty and health!

Acquired for your child. Who knows about the Nemechek protocol, he will understand. Inulin is needed there. The child is 2.5 years old. Takes well, no problem. Taste is pleasant, sweet.

I’ve been using this for years and have been very pleased until my last batch (Lot# 3120372). Not sure if it’s a new formula or a bad batch but it’s totally ineffective now and even had a different flavor.

I bought this inulin for adoption in combination with a probiotic from CGN. I drink a probiotic at night, and inulin, when I remember. Inulin helps – nourishes the beneficial intestinal flora. Previously, there were constipation, for 4-5 days I did not go to the toilet. She was saved only by dufalac. Now I drink this bunch: probiotic + inulin, in the morning my intestines wake me up, I go to the toilet. This is despite the fact that I take iron, and as you know, it secures the chair. This bunch worked great! If the review was helpful, click YES!

Inulin – an organic substance completely of plant origin, belongs to the group of prebiotics. The term “prebiotic” is often used to refer to active substances, most of which are not adsorbed in the human intestine, but have a beneficial effect on the digestion and elimination of harmful substances, slags, fats and heavy metals. Inulin improves carbohydrate and lipid metabolism and normalizes blood sugar levels in patients with diabetes. It promotes complex and deep cleansing of the body from slags, heavy metals and radionuclides, reduces the effect of toxic substances when they enter the stomach. Increases the level of assimilation of mineral substances, including calcium, and also restores the broken intestinal microflora Inulin, as an anticoagulant, prevents the formation of blood clots. It also reduces the level of “bad” cholesterol and helps to lower blood pressure in people with hyperlipidemia. Inulin has a pronounced choleretic effect, which is enhanced due to the relief of bile outflow from the liver and gallbladder into the duodenum, due to improved bowel movement. Prevents the development of atherosclerosis and cardiovascular diseases, osteoporosis, liver diseases, helps reduce blood pressure. As a prebiotic, inulin normalizes the activity of the intestines, it is very effective in acute and chronic gastrointestinal infections, gastritis, colitis and dysbacteriosis. Inulin of this brand has a slightly sweet taste. I add 1 teaspoon to yogurt + 1 teaspoon of husk of plantain seeds of the same company + 1 capsule of probiotic. All health!

Sometimes I get constipation and put it in a drink and it will come out after a while. It’s easy to dissolve, and it’s helpful because diet alone doesn’t get enough water-soluble dietary fiber. Good bacteria in the intestine also increase, so it is good for health and beauty. I don’t know if it’s just too much, but I need to adjust it because it is sometimes taken.

Took the child for the protocol Nemechek, acts!

hi I am your customer who bought this product a week ago. I got the inulin yesterday but I am deeply worried if it already went wrong. I’m a regular customer, Buying this product a month ago. This product tastes weird comparing to the last one. Symptoms of after having this product are also different. I had the product today and it feels like I have my stomach full of boiling gas. Could you please send me another product to compare with or offer me a full refund?

My understanding is that Inulin is a prebiotic. You don’t want to take probiotics at the same time you’re taking a prebiotic.
Yes, I am part of an online community with hundreds of people who are using this brand of Inulin with their children. I have given it to my son age 11 and he only weighs 70 pounds. My only caution is to start with a small dose of 1/16 teaspoon or less for a week to see how your child tolerates it and very slowly build to your target dose. (It took me as an adult a month to build up to 1 teaspoon. ) For more info on Inulin, see Dr. Patrick Nemechek’s blog or view his YouTube videos.
Definitely can
I did not get it yet.
Both my wife and I take this daily with no problems we have been using this for over a year.
No, it’s recommended for adults only.
Yes you can. Start with a small dose (1/8 tsp) and increase gradually until 1 tsp max.
Why would you give supplements to kids? Breast milk is by far the best nutritional source for them also the best prebiotic.
As a nurse my advice is to always ask your doctor if you can and research on the web for the answer
With inulin one should be careful about doses as having too much could cause gas. You should start at a low dose such as 1/4 of a teaspoons keep dose for 10days if not problems with it you could go up to 1/2. Do not exceed two tablespoons. One of side effects is gas as inulin feeds your good bacteria to increase.
