Despite their relatively low impact on blood glucose, certain sugar alcohols (Like xylitol and mannitol) may have a laxative effect if overused. Though it lists total sugars on the label, it makes no distinction between the naturally occurring ones and those that are added. My favorite stevia to use personally is sweet leaf stevia in the liquid dropper here i like this brand because it is pure stevia, without any sugar alcohols or other sweeteners added. (Makes sense that folks in the hemisphere of the philippines, where most coconut products originate, would use jaggery instead of sucanat/rapadura as their standard unrefined sweetener).
