I did not really understand the purpose of this brush. It is definitely not basic, and I never came up with where to put it in daily makeup. The application of the concealer under the eyes is much better done by the sponge / beauty blender, and this brush is a little harsh for the skin around the eyes. Sometimes I use it to apply shadows with driving / slapping movements for a brighter effect; sometimes I correct her concealer and tone, if somewhere they hid in folds. In general, as for me, the brush is useless

You could but I think it would look a little heavy as the bristles are very tightly packed, I would recommend the setting brush for powder mineral concealer.
