Vitamin E (tocopherol) is a fat-soluble natural antioxidant essential for the body. It protects cells from pathological peroxidation, which can lead to their aging and even death. If there is a deficiency of vitamin E in the body, then the cells are damaged faster, immunity weakens. Vitamin E is very necessary for all body tissues. It protects red blood cells, thereby improving the transport of oxygen to tissues, and vitamin E also prevents the formation of blood clots in blood vessels. It inhibits the development of atherosclerosis. Vitamin E is of great importance for the reproductive system, both for men and women. With a deficiency in men, sperm production decreases, and women can have various menstrual irregularities.
