The Magnesium Malate Trihydrate compound, which is the combination of the magnesium and malic acid is 3.75 g, when you divide this by the serving size of 3 tablets you get the 1250 mg.
I don’t really know. But I take 3 tablets per day and that keeps my magnesium levels fine and cramps in my legs away. Malat is a much better form of magnesium compared with some other magnesium types as it does not give any stomach issues. I take one tablet for breakfast, one for lunsj and one with dinner.
It is definitely NOT listed as any “other ingredients”, which I think is required if it were the case. To be certain, ask the manufacturer.
