I don’t know the answer to your question. But the mfg claims it cuts down on constipation. I haven’t found that to be true, but continue to use this product, after trying others, since I have to use some type of OTC iron for anemia.
No, not that I have noticed, and I would. Everyone’s taste buds are different, so you might want to try one bottle (very inexpensive) and see how it goes. This is the only brand and Foodpharmacy Blog is the only site I’ve found that carries dried ferrous sulfate equivalent to 365mg. of liquid ferrous sulfate. Sundown is the only brand that has this iron product as far as I know. I took the bottle to my doctor, and he said this was exactly what I should be taking – natural without a lot of fillers. Actually if your iron levels are on the lower side these tabs are just fine. Been taking them for qyuite a long time and I never had any problems, my blood tests are still on the lower side but at least there is an improvement. highly recommended
