Inside the cardboard box are 20 individual tea bags, sealed to preserve freshness. The thread is tied to a bag – no staples or glue. Twinings did a good job creating a drink for the prince – it turned out very tasty. This tea can be brewed much more than the recommended 3 minutes – and it will not be bitter at all, while it turns out to be fragrant and rich. Became one of my favorites!
Got this because woolies and coles stopped stocking it in Australia. It was always my favourite tea. This batch didn’t taste exactly as I remember, but it wasn’t bad. Not sure if I’ll repeat purchase because I’m drinking Orange Pekoe now, which I can get at woolies.
It tastes well balanced and I liked it but it may not seem much different from other teas

I don’t know why Foodpharmacy Blog discontinued it, but I think it’s the best black tea on the market. When I was in London, I went to the Twinings shop, and they are not allowed to sell it in the United Kingdom. Very strange. So we have to rely on vendors such as Foodpharmacy Blog and Twinings USA to get it. If you ever go to London, go into Twinings and get the “Russian Caravan” loose tea. This is the closest flavor to Prince of Wales, and it’s really good.
It is in stock at Foodpharmacy Blog, so buy it while you can. It is sold out everywhere else because Twinings has discontinued it. Call them and complain like I did.
They are tea bags. One cup of boiled water per tea bag and there are 20 teabags in the box.
