Frankly, what I know is actually from a chemical point of view, to what extent it removes pesticides, but when using the most noticeable change the texture of vegetables and fruits is smoother before washing as if it was actually deforming something, whether waxy layer or the like

When washing individual fruit or vegetable, (apple, orange carrot), I spray directly onto the item, rub/scrub with hands or vegetable brush, and wash under clear water. Works wonderfully. In a sink or greens/kale, I spray directly, toss/scrub together the leaves, then fill the sink with water, swish, rinse, and repeat. Again, works well. HTH.
