I have been taking this black cohosh for about 5 years to help with my long and drawn-out perimenopause. It helps hot flashes, night sweats, and does wonders for my skin! I was having a lot of problems with cystic acne in my late thirties until I started taking this. If I stop taking it the problems start again so I go back on it.

The drug helped with the tides. They retreated for several months. I used to take a domestic drug with tsififuga, but it is very expensive for long-term use. I switched to this drug, very satisfied.

Tablets smell of fragrance. I have a different product from the same brand that also has this same problem. Products are becoming fragrance contaminated somewhere during processing.

How many mg to take per day? One site said over 1000mg is considered an overdose, yet this says take 3 per day at 540mg. Other sites say 40-80 mg, other say 400mg.

I have been taking 3 capsules spread out across the day for years with no problems and with good results. I have given bottles to other women to try and had them come back to find out where to buy them because they found that other black cohosh products did not work. I’ve had good results – still get hot flashes but less intense and less frequent.
