The aroma is pleasant, resinous-coniferous, pine cone for me smells just like that. But it is not so expressed that it decided to conduct a test (for evaporation). Hi my dropping hair was caused by an oily scalp. I find cedarwood oil helps to control my oily scalp hence minimise hair loss. You might need check on cause of hairloss if it is due to oily scalp or sonething else too.
