I don’t know what low-quality C would be like, so I’m not so sure about this. The reason I bought it is that vitamin C tablets often have fillers that produce side effects, most often, diarrhea. This is something I want to avoid. Vitamin C powder usually doesn’t do that because they usually don’t include fillers. Since these are gelatin capsules filled with vitamin C powder, I thought they’d probably have fewer bad effects than some tablets, and I have gotten bad side effects from C tablets. This doesn’t cause any side effects for me, and I seem to be allergic or react badly to almost everything. I don’t think I adequately answered your question, but I hope this helps.
