If you do not add anything to it I think you should be fine. Dandelion is a diuretic so taking it while fasting would probably help cleanse your system more. I however would be careful taking too much at a time as dandelion can lower your blood sugar, so start with a tsp and add to it in small amounts to see if it affects you, I take a tbs a day and I’m ok, any more than that it lowers my sugar way too much.
I too have been drinking Dandy Blend as a coffee substitute for six years. I can’t answer your question, however, you may want to contact the company that produces the product. They probably are more qualified to answer your question. Continue to enjoy this drink as I do.

I didn’t research every ingredient, but I Wouldn’t recommend this for during pregnancy. Chicory is not recommended during pregnancy.
I called the company and this is what I found out. Dandy blend has been around for about 20 years. There are no herbicides or pesticides, and it’s non-GMO. About a year ago they were certified to sell organic. The organic only comes in the small package. The original is not certified organic.
