This is indeed fragrance free and doesn’t have any other ingredients in it that I am sensitive to, like chamomile or green tea. It doesn’t lather well the first time unless you use a lot, but does well the second lathering, and does better the more water you add. I am allergic/sensitive to some chemicals, essential oils, and natural ingredients, but this does not bother me. It doesn’t do anything fancy but it gets my hair clean. I will continue to reorder it since it is the only shampoo I’ve found so far that doesn’t have something in it that bothers me.

I have chemical sensitivities illness. This shampoo if fragrance free. There is difference in the words unscented and fragrance free. Always look for fragrance free on any product even lotion,detergents and even Cat litter. smiles Arm and Hammer has a unscented cat litter sold in their box that says unscented that does have fragrance but Arm and Hammer also has a fragrance free stated on their litter for sale and its fragrance free. I had to add this as many reading this review have multiple chemical sensitivity illness or allergies. and they need fragrance free products in their home. Unscented has a scent to it. fragrance free should not have any scent to it. Love this shampoo and the conditioner also by Dessert Essence.
