My lips used to become dry and peel a lot if i did not constantly apply lip balm, but when i switched to this my lips have been smooth without having to keep reapplying throughout the day. The smell is great, the larger applicator makes it so easy to swipe across once on each lip, and done. If there is not a lip balm that you are already in love with this one may be worth trying. This original screw-top pot is unscented, but if you like a taste to your balm, it also comes in pomegranate, cloudberry, cranberry, blackcurrant, bilberry, gingerbread, cherry and rose flavours. There’s nothing fancy about aquaphor lip repair, but that is what makes it so great. I don’t often leave product reviews and have to say something to warn people about this one. After seeing the overwhelmingly positive reviews I was really looking forward to receiving this lip balm, however it dries out my lips horribly and leaves them feeling painful. Worse than not using anything. Threw it out after a couple of tries. The scent is also awful, reminiscent of the bushfire smoke here (in Australia) at the moment. Very disappointing product.

I am writing my first review on this site, because it was this product that outraged me enough to at least try to interrupt the flow of praise for it. I relied on just these laudatory reviews and bought this particular balm, and not my usual and proven one, and now I consider it my duty to tell you about how he let me down. There are only 3 of my requirements for lip balm: it should be tight to hold long enough and not cause a desire to lick the lips, after using it, the lips should gradually come in order, and it should at least smell good. Hurraw did not satisfy any of these requirements. Well, perhaps the smell is not completely unbearable, but simply not too pleasant, but this, of course, is purely subjective. Although my husband, when he felt it for the first time, asked what it smells so chemical? At first I did not understand what it was about. It turns out about this balm. But on the first two points of my categorical “failure.” A completely loose balm, similar to liquid lipstick, which after a few minutes leaves the lips and you need to smear more and more. And everything would be fine if there was any sense at all, but no: the lips, as were weathered and cracked, remain. At least put on it. There is no good balm, pleasant, very dry, cracked lips, there is no way to evaluate the healing properties for these purposes 100%, but with herpes, before the start, I usually itch and tighten the upper lip, smeared with this balm and everything went and the cold sore did not start, but to say for sure whether only this balm helped is not sure (most likely in joint therapy)
