Love all of J. R. liggetts shampoo soaps, used to work as a hairdresser and used lots of hair products containing Chemicals, when I went through menapause a suffered hair because of this, and started using this product and have never looked back, because all liquid shampoos are full of chemicals causing hair loss in women later years, this did not oocur with women before liquid shampoo arrived on the scene 50 years ago. This soap shampoo has all natural products I only wish I had of used it years ago.

I think so. I started using this many years ago when my hair was oilier than it is now. I love this shampoo but I also alternate with another shampoo too.
Science! Oils are great for eliminating oils, I learned about this when switching to an oil based face wash. I’ve been using this bar shampoo, works great!

According to the J. R. Liggett’s website, their bar shampoos are “on the alkaline side”. It does not give a precise PH for each shampoo bar.
I do not know what the difference is between all the types (probably fragrance!) – that is why I stick with the “Original Formula”. I have oily hair too and I shampoo every day. It doesn’t keep your hair from getting oily but that’s probably good cause it isn’t harsh.

Can’t really say. If you try it, you need to use it a few times before you see the results. You have to get all the junk out of your hair that’s been coating it with other chemical blend shampoos, and conditioners, etc.
Hi, I have only tried the herbal one and the jojoba and peppermint shampoo bar. I had not problems with either. Even in our Australian winter, which is very dry. I’m amazed how much it lathers and how little you use per wash. (If my hair gets really dry (because of the weather), I rub in some coconut oil for a few hours, before washing)
