I am coloring at home using the same professional products, formula and method as my stylist. I decided at one point that i was possibly trading my health and potentially my future, just to color my gray. Hair on the sides is somewhat grey but none on the top. Also the overnight darker hair was so noticeable at work and people do comment. Usually it is broken down by an enzyme called catalase, but if production of catalase is diminished the peroxide sits on the hair and lightens the pigment. After 3 washes it has lightened slightly but it looks like my hair colour. I read that you do the roots and put oil on all the other hair. Has anyone had a problem communicating with hairprint?

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but if your hair grows fast, your original/dye color is medium to dark, and you have a lot of gray, then how fast the color grows out has nothing to do with how it is colored. Do not use this or any other haircoloring product if you have experienced a reaction to a temporary black henna tattoo in the past. Experimental evidence supports the hypothesis that oxidative stress also plays a role in the ageing process of the hair follicle. I keep my hair on the sides clipped low, probably a 1/4 inch or less guard on the clippers. Should probably have went a bit darker as was a noticeably differnet colour from his hair. Yes, even after 2 or 3 weeks there is color under my fingernails when washing hair or scratching scalp. So something in this product opens the hair shaft and deposits it. I do not know how the other colors Of henna work since they must have some sort of dye in them.

I would not trust that the product will make your hair chestnut brown, that was the original color of my hair, instead it made mine a very dark, cool brown. Personally, i prefer to avoid haircoloring products that use metallic salts, as they can give very unpredictable results and can also result in very weird results if later down the road you want to use other lightening or dyeing products (Natural or not). After one coloring there was a green color near my roots. My hairdresser said it was from the minerals/salts in hairprint. (If you use this product more often your hair will turn purple). What i like best about this method is that when the grays grow there is not a huge contrast between the highlighted hair and the new growth. I am desperate and very unhappy about my hair. Take the point end of the brush and make a new part about a quarter of an inch parallel to the first, lay the colored hair over, and paint the other side and the opposite side with color. My treat is to go to my hair guy(Who happens to be a dear friend) and have that special few hours to myself with my bud. Was trying to get my beard to match the gray in my hair. So now i have mostly silver hair (I do think i am lucky that the color is vibrant and with a lot of good conditioning, the texture is great).

Get rid of gray hair – better than hair dye. Get a haircolor brush while you are there, they are cheap and make it much easier to apply the color and part the hair. I used all of their products (Shampoos, conditioners, color restorer system) exclusively for 4 months and followed all of the directions carefully. I have family members who are sensitive to smells and wonder what they will think as i am getting my color back. Also, my hair seems shiny and healthy and not especially dried out from the product. Used to be t25/35, now just t35, been using for several years and it does the job for about 4-6 weeks even if you shower every day as long as you use a color safe shampoo and conditioner such as those available at costco. Just a few touch-up sprays from this bad, baby dry shampoo pen will instantly refresh and add body to your hair.
