Life Extension, Buffered Vitamin C Powder, 16 oz (454 g) Product Review

Buffered Vitamin C powder 16ozs. Great side effect. I’ll buy again. You can take magnesium calcium potassium. What do you do when you buffer? Very good product, can be mixed with water and lemon for high-dose drinking. Great PRODUCT, but. I will order more. Easy to use. Mediocre.

Have been using this product for many years & have found it invaluable for its buffering effects of vit. C on my system. allowing me to consume quite large amounts without my coming out in hives etc which I do if I eat large quantities of vit c containing fruits/ Vegas. It is especially helpful in helping me sleep better if I take sufficient doses during the day. Evidently, vit c is a precursor in the production of certain sleep hormones in the adrenal glands. Good value for money.

I have had trouble with the condition of my hair (and historic hair loss) this has made a significant difference! Have it every day and heard recently a specialist advising that everyone should have Vit C everyday for life.

It’s painless and good quality for the price. It’s good to have it in terms of price wise and quality.

I don’t eat multivitamins, so I like to eat them together, but if you are eating multivitamins, please adjust the amount. Taste is vitamin c. Because vitamin c is sensitive to heat and light. I pour a little more and add more water because of the season when the bubbles rise up. But if you eat a lot, do not eat a lot at once because of diarrhea, please eat according to the time zone. It’s because calcium carbonate is in it.

If you go over 3 grams, then

Very good product, can be mixed with water and lemon for high-dose drinking

I Foodpharmacy Blog provides a range of great products at very competitive prices. And this vitamin c powder is just one of them. However, for those guys buying from the United Kingdom, be mindful that upon delivery there is always a 50 percent customs charge on all products. So consider buying from amazon or ebay for better prices.

Prescribed a doctor. It acts quickly and does not cause bloating and abdominal pain.

Always here because I’m not good at tablets. I put it in a smoothie every morning. It’s easy to drink without a bottle.

I bought a buffered product because of any stomach upset. I’ll buy it once at first and buy the next one pure. It’s because of my personal concern about having too much potassium.

Questions and Answers

Is this derived from corn?
Can I dissolve a teaspoon of this in a bottle of water and sip it throughout the day? Will the solution degrade over time?
Is this made in China?

I do not actually know. However, If it derived from corn which in the US mainly GMO then Foodpharmacy Blog should withdraw the product. I noticed that it does not dissolved completely and contained calcium instead of sodium. Perhaps others would liketo comment on the ill effect of calcium if any
Hi! Research suggests if you have tap water that is contaminated with copper (copper pipes), then it had a significant chance to degrade. In studies of prebottled vitamin c waters, they apparently did not degrade – but this would likely be because the water is pure. When Vitamin C is exposed to oxygen it is known to degrade. There wasn’t a clear answer in the literature. This brand of Vitamin C is also buffered, so is likely to also play a part in the stability of the solution.
No – made in the USA – excellent company- highly recommended.
