I ordered this soap more than a month ago, but still have not received it. I’m upset.

For me, most soaps are either too drying, irritate my skin, or are too moisturizing and cause breakouts/pimples. For many years I used Bee + Flower Sandalwood soap, but in winter (in New England) I found it to be a little too drying. Foodpharmacy Blog offered a Peppermint Castile Soap from Madre Labs that was a good price by volume and had great reviews, so I gave it a try and never went back. Hands down it was the best soap I’ve ever used. I used it for a couple years (all seasons) until recently Foodpharmacy Blog discontinued it. Heartbroken, I saw that they still offered this scent; and although I’m not generally a fan of lavender, I gave it a chance hoping I would still be able to use it for the soap properties I’ve come to rely on. Success! I don’t even smell the lavender. What I always do is unwrap the soap and put it back in the box to store until use. This lets it dry out some so that it lasts longer when put into use. Whether that made the scent “evaporate” or whether it wasn’t strongly scented to begin with, the result is, I’m very happy with this soap and will continue to buy it.

I love all the soaps of this manufacturer. Lavender has a delicate, slightly perceptible smell. Lathers well, not “snotty”, a large bar.

Good sulfate-free, does not dry skin, wash my children only with such soaps. For the price it goes well. Natural smell is not annoying.
