Questions and Answers

Is it safe if child swallow it for the purpose of detox? As all ingredients looks safe. We want to let child swallow it for detox purpose.
Are children under the age of 5 allowed to use it?
How abrasive is this toothpaste? regularly brushing teeth with a highly abrasive toothpaste can wear away tooth enamel and leave your teeth at risk for cavity-causing bacteria, and twice per day seems a lot.

Though it has all natural/organic ingredients, I’m unsure if I would allow my child to swallow it for detox purposes. Activated charcoal by itself in water has no taste so it might be better to just buy that by itself and give the child. I would advise doing a bit of research for how much you should give to a child in whatever age range they are in. One needs to drink plenty of water/liquid after consuming activated charcoal as it can cause constipation.
I can’t imagine that children aren’t allowed to use it since it contains only natural ingredients and is a lot healthier than “regular” toothpaste! Regular toothpaste often contains flouride and that’s toxic in bigger amounts for young children. I wouldn’t hesitate to use it if I had kids but the downside might be that it’s black because of the charcoal and it could stain clothes and bathroom interior.
Hi, this toothpaste, in my experience, does not wear away enamel, it is not any more abrasive than a toothpaste with baking soda. Obviously, if you brush to hard, any toothpaste will wear enamel away. I had sensitive teeth before choosing to use this toothpaste, I actually changed to My Magic Mud because it didn’t have glycerine in it. I have tried MANY different brands, this is the only one that had helped with my teeth sensitivity. Now I can brush my teeth without hitting a sensitive spot and, well really not enjoying the whole teeth brushing experience. My family uses it too, and it leaves our teeth fresh and whiter over time. No morning “fuzz” with this brand. We have been using it for about two years. I guess we are all individuals, so you can only really try it and see. Hope this has helped :).
