I can’t imagine that children aren’t allowed to use it since it contains only natural ingredients and is a lot healthier than “regular” toothpaste! Hi, this toothpaste, in my experience, does not wear away enamel, it is not any more abrasive than a toothpaste with baking soda. Obviously, if you brush to hard, any toothpaste will wear enamel away. I had sensitive teeth before choosing to use this toothpaste, I actually changed to My Magic Mud because it didn’t have glycerine in it. I had done LOTS of research and it is glycerine which seems to be the main culprit for causing teeth sensitivity. Even many other ‘healthy’ toothpastes have it in them. I have tried MANY different brands, this is the only one that had helped with my teeth sensitivity. Now I can brush my teeth without hitting a sensitive spot and, well really not enjoying the whole teeth brushing experience. My family uses it too, and it leaves our teeth fresh and whiter over time. No morning “fuzz” with this brand. We have been using it for about two years. I guess we are all individuals, so you can only really try it and see. Hope this has helped :).
