It’s magnesium carbonate which is the only type you want to be ingesting. This particular product is actually really good! If you struggle with leg cramps at night or in general (which is actually caused by magnesium deficiency), this stuff works a treat. I also found it really helpful in lowering my stress levels which also improved my sleep dramatically. I would 100% recommend this product! I’ve tried the other flavours but I always go back to the original.

I have used this product a lot and so have many of my clients. The amount of water doesn’t really matter. You can use 4 oz-8 oz. (no matter the dosage of the CALM) I usually suggest warm water and to let the fizz die down (at least 10 min) before drinking. The dosage is depending upon the person.1-2 tsp or up to a rounded Tablespoon if needed. For kids, they can put one tsp in a large water bottle (like 16 oz) and drink throughout the day at school which is very calming for kids that are hyper or have trouble concentrating. Otherwise, adults, drink at night for help with sleep, leg cramps and constipation (if needed).
I say what’s wrong with being addicted to something that is naturally good for us and that our body needs on a regular basis anyway. But, I don’t find it addicting or I never think of it that way because I take it knowing that most of us are greatly lacking in magnesium and it doesn’t store in our bodies like other supps. so one can take a little more than usual. I take a level teaspoon 2-3 times a day morning and evening for various reasons. Most effectively, I take it with very warm water, (sm. amount of water). Also, wouldn’t you rather take something completely natural verses over the counter drug store stuff that is not all that great and it may be addicting? I don’t believe for a moment that mag. is addicting in a bad way. I’m addicted to a very healthy diet/supps. verses the way I used to eat, which was also terrible addicting. Taste is hard to explain, but it does not have a strong flavour on its own. Taste is very mild, almost not taste at all when mixed with water.
