In animal models, taurine is effective in preventing nonalcoholic fatty liver disease. Share on pinterest some energy drinks contain taurine. These findings in aged rats are in contrast to previous reports of taurine neuroprotection in younger animals. In a small study of 19 children with cystic fibrosis, daily taurine supplementation for 6 months had a positive effect. Increasing taurine levels restores respiratory chain activity and increases the synthesis of atp at the expense of superoxide anion production. Moreover, mpo gene deletion and taurine administration significantly attenuated the induction of serum amyloid a (Saa), which promotes angii-induced aaas. Tissue taurine depletion alters metabolic response to exercise and reduces running capacity in mice. In this report, we present a broad overview of the functional properties of taurine, some of the consequences of taurine deficiency, and the results of studies in animal models suggesting that taurine may play a therapeutic role in the management of epilepsy and diabetes. Researchers compared the behaviours and development of birds fed a taurine-supplemented diet to a control diet and found the juveniles fed taurine-rich diets as neonates were much larger risk takers and more adept at spatial learning tasks. The effect of taurine chloramine on pro-inflammatory cytokine production by peripheral blood mononuclear cells isolated from rheuatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis patients. Therefore, the changes in plasma taurine concentration from baseline were calculated. Biochemical parameters, including serum taurine and methionine levels, were measured at each time point. In men with stable angina, an increase in plasma l-arginine/adma ratio after two weeks Oral supplementation with l-arginine is not associated with an improvement in endothelium-dependent vasodilatation, oxidative stress or exercise performance.

Nature’s Life, Taurine Powder, Unflavored, 335 g Product Review

Taurine. opened bank. Great value for money. SIRE. I will not buy again. I liked it very pleased. Great. Kitty crack. Too expensive. The best choice of taurine

Work drug!

came with an open protective film

I make my own cat food and taurine is very important in a cats diet. This is adorable and tasteless so is great for mixing in food as a supplement.

Very good.

This product doesn’t work the way people usually talk about it. I took with L Thenina and 5HTP and it did not improve my sleep at all

the product arrived in perfect condition and on time

Good

This is used to help my entire cats while pregnant. It’s just the best

It’s a joke, but if you don’t know it

They would add a spoon for one gram – the price would not be for this taurine. Well, as I drink it almost constantly, there is only one problem – sometimes I forget to add it, because it is a jar, not a capsule.

Questions and Answers

Anyone know’s of non-GMO Taurine powder?
What is the natural vegetarian SOURCE of this Taurine? Thanks

Nature’s Life Taurine Powder should in my opinion be Non-GMO, as it is said to be ” 100% natural, yeast-free, Taurine, dairy-free, gluten-free, soy-free, sugar-free, vegetarian, wheat-free, preservatives free, corn free, starch free”. Corn and Soy are the main GMO crops and they are apparently not contained in this Taurine product.
Vegetarians can get taurine from dairy products according to what I have read online. I purchase it to put in my homemade catfood, not for myself.
