I haven’t used this oil for my hair but I would think that you could add it to your conditioner. I use lemongrass in my home made bug spray along with now citronella and now peppermint oil and now lavender oil with vitamin E oil mix with water that works wonders I also use lemongrass to mix with my fabric softener
