I have been taking vitamin e 400 iu softgels for nearly 40 years, since my husband had a heart attack and startetd it himself. Use of vitamin c or vitamin e supplements, or both, has been associated with better cognitive function and a reduced risk of certain forms of dementia (Not including alzheimer’s disease).
