10% is very strong of a concentration for glycolic acid. I went through my 5% and thought I could handle 10%. Was I wrong hahaha. The product is very effective, so if you are sure 10% is right for you I believe you will like this product. The stinging is naturally stronger than that of 5% as well, but as long as the stinging sensation goes away in 45-60 seconds it’s safe to say it’s normal and you’re not having an allergic reaction. I ended up using it on the keratosis on my arms and thighs given it’s too strong for my face, and it worked magic.

I have used this product for years in combination with Reviva’s Brown Spot Brightening Creme on my face. In my opinion, you need both to get the job done. The 10% Glycolic Acid Creme exfoliates and readies the skin for other treatments. It essentially makes anything else you put over top more effective. When I use both in combination, they make my skin smoother and also then lightens dark spots. I used them together every night for a couple weeks, until I felt my skin was overall much brighter and more even. Then I switched to using them just a couple times a week. Once you lighten/brighten though, then it’s important to use sunscreen to prevent darkening again. I would think for skin on your knees, it may take more product for a longer period of time as that skin is much thicker than facial skin.
It will help you with post-acne, but first, you need to check the reason of your acne: product allergy, hormones, stomach problems? This product can help your skin, not inside problems.
