No it is not whitening. It has niacinamide which can lighten dark spots and have a brightening effect on your skin, but it will not actually make it lighter
personally i found this unbelievably greasy. it feels like butter on your face, but not in a good way. You’d me much better off useing the overnight honey mask. It’s a difference between waking up with a wonderful moisture glow instead of straight up butter on your forehead.
