I have used blending sponges at the same price point which were hard and ineffective. These are quite firmer for my liking, much stiffer than my old beauty blender and do not get the job done so easily but now i use mine dampened and they give nice soft texture. This product is an allure best of beauty award winner. These sponges absolutely blow the bb out of the water. I like the texture of these sponges even better than my rt sponges! I do not have to go dig for the little sachet bag i used to keep it in in my makeup closet in my bathroom, now i always know where it is. Beauty junkees Flat top kabuki is hands-down, the best and most versatile brush i have ever used – regardless of price. When i received it, i compared it to my beauty blender and they are the same size and look and feel the same. Is the purple egg-shaped sponge in the duo pack a dupe for the beautyblender? The smooth, soft surface of a beauty blender is much gentler on the skin, and can help you flawlessly apply makeup without leaving you with a cake face. I apply my primer then wet the sponge, dot my foundation around my face and blend away all my flaws and imperfections. However, i will say that there is a strange smell on the sponges when you remove them from the packaging for the first time.
