Bob’s Red Mill, Potato Flakes, Instant Mashed Potatoes, 16 oz (454 g) Product Review

I buy for my husband. potato flakes. so easy and delicious! Potato powder. Great. Neutral. Great deal. Best I’ve ever eaten! Fast, easy, safe. A quick fix

I want to note that I like potatoes, so I eat VERY rarely. I just swell from her. I am gaining weight instantly. And even more so, from mashed potatoes, where, in addition to high-calorie potatoes, there are both milk and butter. Well, where am I such a disgrace? But my husband loves beautiful potatoes and eats without any consequences for the figure. His metabolism is the dream of all forever losing weight girls. So, so that he would not make me nervous and eat his puree in silence, I ordered these flakes for him. Making mashed potatoes from them is a matter of two minutes. Even a child can handle it. The site has a tablet with proportions, you can use it. But the husband adapted to do it by eye. He puts flakes in a deep plate, sprinkles them with salt, and then gradually adds hot water and milk to them (but he can also simply dilute them with hot milk, it tastes better). Mixes the whole thing to the desired consistency, then throws a piece of butter or ghee in a plate, allows the mashed potatoes to stand for several minutes and. eats without a twinge of conscience.

They taste like regular potatoes that you peal and boil. just less trouble.

I love these potatoes so much that I ordered several bags. The only improvement would be if they were organic. They are so easy and absolutely scrumptious!

It’s so smooth, no milk, and scented with sweet potato. It’s best if you can pack a little or can.

Great

Makes good mashed potato but it doesn’t smell that fresh.

Price is great and taste good! So convenience! I have bought it for so many times!

This is SO good, I’ve ordered many times, I can highly recommend it.

Children love mashed potatoes. Many adults, too, but the children, it seems to me, can always eat it. But here it is: peel potatoes, boil, heat milk, pour in the right amount, knead. in short, I cook puree two or three times a year, and after much persuasion. I tried soluble mashed potatoes, of course, but not a single one suited me with either taste or composition. Bob-s-Red-Mill potato flakes contain only dehydrated (dehydrated) potatoes. All! Therefore, it is better to store in a refrigerator or even a freezer. I do it by eye: I add milk (50/50) to hot boiling water and pour it into a bowl with cereal and salt, stirring with a fork. For one decent serving, three tablespoons of cereal is enough. I increase the amount of liquid gradually, depending on how thick the mashed potatoes I want. After the mashed potatoes have become homogeneous, set aside for five minutes. It will thicken a little more during this time. Put in a plate, add oil or pour sauce – and enjoy. Different from the present? Yes, different. But still it’s quick, tasty and completely harmless puree!

Very easy to make mashed potato when you don’t feel like making a mess. Not quite as tasty as using fresh potatoes but close enough. No added nasties, just dehydrated.
